Our story began in 1978, when the McCombs Family made “The Farm” their home. What started as a simple cattle pasture soon transformed into rows of hand-grown Christmas trees, marking the beginning of Southern Tree Plantation’s agricultural legacy.
Then, in 2004, a single wedding changed everything. A couple asked to exchange vows beneath the mountain sky, overlooking the breathtaking Brasstown Bald range—and from that moment, the Southern Tree Plantation Wedding Venue was born.
Today, the McCombs Family proudly operates both sides of “The Farm”: a beloved North Georgia Christmas tree farm and a gorgeous mountain view wedding venue. We cherish the opportunity to share this magical place with you—where every season, every celebration, and every sunset feels like home.
